1. What is SES.HOSPEDAJES and why do you need to register?

  • SES.HOSPEDAJES is the Ministry of the Interior's platform where accommodation providers must register their guests' details in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 933/2021.
  • The obligation to use the platform will come into force on 2 December 2024.
  • In order to use SES.HOSPEDAJES, you need to meet certain requirements, such as having a digital certificate or an electronic identification system (DNIe, Cl@ve, etc.).
  • Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive your login details and codes (landlord, establishment) and can start submitting your traveller reports.

If you are unable to complete these formalities due to language barriers, you can contact the company Artesur, which specialises in legal formalities for owners of holiday homes (https://oficinadeturismovirtual.es/). In any case, you must have an electronic certificate.

2. Preparations before you start

Before logging into the system, please ensure that you have the following:

  • Electronic certificate issued by FNMT
  • The AutoFirma programme for digital signatures
  • Details of the property (address, number of bedrooms, tourist licence number)
  • Owner details: name, NIE number, address, email address

3. Access to the SES.HOSPEDAJES platform

  1. Go to the official section of the Ministry of the Interior: ‘Accommodation and vehicle rental’. https://sede.interior.gob.es/portal/sede/tramites?idAgrupacion=18
  2. Click on ‘Access’ or ‘Register/Fill in form’, depending on whether you already have an account or not.
  3. Select your identification method (digital certificate, DNIe, Cl@ve PIN, Cl@ve permanente).

4. Fill in the registration form for the company

After authentication:

  • If you are not yet registered, select ‘Fill in form / Register accommodation’.
  • Enter the accommodation details

5. Sign and send the registration application

  • Name of the accommodation
  • Type of accommodation (holiday apartment, country house, etc.)
    • Full address (street, house number, municipality, province, postcode)
    • Number of rooms or capacity
    • Relevant tourist registration (if applicable)
    • If you have an internet connection or other requested services
  • Also enter the details of the owner/person in charge:
    • First name and surname
    • Type of ID (identity card, foreigner's identity card, passport)
    • Date of birth
    • Address of the owner
    • Other requested contact details
  • Tick the box ‘Sending notifications via web service’ if you plan to send travellers' notifications (reports) via automatic software.
  • If you send manually from the platform each time, you can leave the box unchecked.
  • Check that all the information is correct.
  • Use AutoFirma or the required digital signature tool to sign the document.
    • Send the application.
    • If everything is in order, you will receive a message saying ‘Registration created’ or similar.

6. Confirmation and access to the platform

  • You will receive a confirmation email with important information:
    • Registration number
    • Landlord code
    • Operating code
    • Username/password for future access (without having to use the digital certificate each time) Log in to SES.HOSPEDAJES again with your normal login details or via certificates.
