Important information regarding indoor climate – Winter 2025/26

The winter season 2025/26 has been unusually cold and rainy along the Costa de la Luz. As most houses and apartments in our region are designed primarily for a summer climate, they are particularly affected by high humidityduring cooler periods.
To help ensure a reasonably comfortable and healthy indoor climate in your accommodation, we kindly ask you to observe the following recommendations:
Daily ventilation is very important. We strongly recommend airing the rooms, especially during the midday hours, when outside temperatures are at their highest.
Please keep the dehumidifier running day and night and move it regularly between the rooms most affected by humidity.
If your accommodation is equipped with air conditioning, please set it to “Dry” mode at night and whenever you are away from the property.
If your apartment has neither air conditioning nor a dehumidifier, please inform us. We will do our best to provide a dehumidifier.
A dry interior can be heated much more efficiently and, above all, helps to prevent mold formation on walls and furnishings.
Should mold nevertheless appear, we recommend removing it promptly using “Lejía” (chlorine bleach), which is available in any supermarket.
For long-term rentals, tenants are responsible for preventing and addressing mold issues. Of course, we are always happy to assist you with advice and practical support.
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
